Has anybody got any info or photos of the cottage / building that used to be inside Birds Marsh?

When I was a kid I saw the cottage in all its glory once, but the locals soon vandalised the place. I have only seen one photograph and that was on an old postcard.
I was at the remains of the cottage a few months ago, and the old gas cooker can still be found, also remains of the old cart can be found in the undergrowth.

Last time I seen the remains of the cottage was in 1990! and the cooker was almost buried then. I went up there for a walk bout a month ago and forgot all about looking for it _________________ Its better to shoot at the stars and miss, than to aim at the gutter and hit it |

Just heard in the Co-op in greenway lane that Developers are planning (2 weeks time) to dig trenches for archiologal trenches to be dug around the fields, and if no meanigful stuff is found, this will give the Developers and the Highways agency the green light to build the relief road from Morrisons to Langley Burrell.

Why cant they just leave Birds Marsh alone! I've got fond memories of running around up there with my grandparents and then camping up there as i got older. It will be sad to see it developed!
