This should make an interesting debate...Who is widely regarded as the most well known living individual, in the Town of Chippenham??
I would say it is one of three people:
1) Mike Haddrell, "The Maverick"...Have started an Appreciation Society on Facebook for this great chap, this eccentric, ex wrestler chap has raised over £6 Million for worthwhile charities & causes over the past 35-40 years.
2) Tony the Runner, (Have to try & find his surname) a great, lively, jogging fanatic in his Fifties, has raised a lot of money for causes himself over the years. Can be spotted in various parts of Chippenham & north Wiltshire during many hours of the day.
3) Wil Hodgson, Comedian with bright pink dyed hair. Tours the UK often with his shows & is well acclaimed by critics everywhere. [/url]

I dont see Maverick around now, Tony is always about. Im sure theres 2 or 4 of him as he seems to be around every corner!
Will Hodgson is the most un-funniest comedian Ive seen |

Id rather get piles than watch one of his shows again.... he used to hold a comedy night in the Rosie (RIP) and after paying to get in.... we left after 20 mins
