7 Miles of excellent countryside, join at Monkton park and you can walk all the way to Calne, if yuor energentic then keep on walking to Yatesbury.
BLACK BRIDGE.
When the railway line was built a 10inch pipe was laid from CHippenham to Clane to transport water for the steam engines. loads of pipes and valves can still be see along the 7 miles walk

No fibre optics back in them days, all along the old railway line, hints to the past can be seen.
Keep going just another 5 miles to go.
