Sponsored Walk from Chippenham to Lacock

The Sponsored walk starts at the Market Place in Chippenham and follows the river then the Wilts & Berks canal to The Bell Inn at Lacock, a distance of some four miles. As you walk along the canal line at Pewsham you can see the structures discovered and under renovation and have the opportunity to speak to our Work Party stalwarts who will be pleased to explain what is going on and point out items of interest. This is an excellent day out for the family and dogs etc. and gives you an opportunity to get the feel of the old canal (and also help bring it back to life)..
